Carl Kenneth Haas, 76, of Independence, MO, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022. Burial is planned for Friday, March 25, 2022 at Blue Ridge Lawn Memorial in Independence, MO.

Carl was born on October 14, 1945, to Carl Clarence Haas and Dorothy May Broombaugh, in Birmingham, AL. After high school, Carl joined the Air Force and later became a truck driver.

Survivors include Carl’s daughters, Christy Lee Haas, of Lee’s Summit, MO and Dorothy May Schowengurdt, of Grain Valley, MO; his brothers, Richard Davis Haas, of Oklahoma and Stephen William Haas Sr., of Alabama; sister, Dorothy Sharon Taylor; and five grandchildren, Gunner Sabastian Haas, Darren Kaiser Haas, Tabrian Formagioni Cottini, Alebrick Eugene Goodrich, and Gavin William Schowengerdt.
