With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dwayne L. Suber Sr., who departed this life on July 11, 2026, at the age of 66.
Dwayne was born on February 11, 1960, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Leo Sr. and Audrey L. Suber. He attended Wyandotte High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed a deep love for connecting with others. He was the proud father of seven children.
Throughout his life, Dwayne worked in a variety of roles. He had a passion for working on cars and took great pride in fixing things. He enjoyed music and loved bringing people together, whether spending time with family or entertaining friends.
Dwayne was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Leo Sr. and Audrey L. Suber; his brothers, Rickie L. Suber Sr., Alvin D. Oliver, and Audie Darnell Suber; and his sister, Arnita L. Cotton, all of Kansas City, Kansas.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his seven beloved children: Dwayne Suber Jr. (Aria), Timisha Tolefree, Terrance Suber (Kayla), Marlon Suber (Sharon), Markisha Gardner (Jermal), Kenya Bloodsoe (Rico), and Cedric Suber; his brother, Leo Suber Jr. of Portsmouth, Virginia; and his sister, Leann Suber of Kansas City, Kansas.
He also leaves behind a host of loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his love, kindness, and presence. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. In addition to his family, he leaves behind a cherished friend, Oscar Fairrow, who was more than a friend, he was a brother by heart. Their bond, built on years of unwavering loyalty, laughter, and love, formed a lifelong brotherhood that will always be remembered and deeply missed.
