Edmund Fields, 55, passed away on February 28,2026 at Saint Luke’s on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO.

He was born on August 3, 1970 in Kansas City, MO to William M. Fields and Mary A. Fields.

He grew up in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City, MO.

He began work at UPS as a loader where he worked for 27 years.

He married Maria on October 10, 2009 in Kansas City, MO. They were happily married for 16 years.

Edmund is preceded in death by his mother Mary, his father William and his sister Connie.

He is survived by his wife Maria; his brothers Brian, William (Datmetra), Gary, James, and Howard (Carolyn); his sisters Helen, Melody, and Jackie.

Ed was a hardworking man. He was kindhearted and a protector of his family. He was a gentle giant with a hard exterior. 

Ed will be greatly missed and loved by his family and friends. Especially by the kids who called him their favorite uncle.

Ed I will love you forever and miss you. You will always be in my heart forever until we meet again.
