Edward Eugene Knight was born November 22, 1965 to Willie B and Gloria D Knight II, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the 6th child born into this union of love. Edward is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Darryl Knight.

Edward was raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Milton Moore Elementary School and East High School, graduating in 1984. Not long after high school, he served in the US Army. He was also employed by Corporate Express Alaska Branch in the Shipping and Receiving Department, he was employed by Woodman’s Market in Madi-son, Wisconsin. Also employed with the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant in Kan-sas City, Missouri. His favorite part-time job was working for the “Boys in Blue”: the Kansas City Royals.

He leaves to cherish his memories and is survived by his former wife, Kristine Knight, his only daughter Jessica Nikole Hines (Lucas) of Menasha, Wisconsin, two bonus children Shannon and Christopher Leatherman, four sisters, Glenda Bruce, Brenda Knight, Teresa Taylor and Kay Knight of Kansas City, Missouri. One brother Willie B. Knight III of Kansas City, Missouri.

As well as a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
