Ernest Lee McIntosh Jr., 64, of Kansas City, Kansas, peacefully departed this life on Monday, November 10, 2025.  Ernest was born on April 2, 1961, to Ernest Lee McIntosh Sr. and Elizabeth Alexander. He was the eldest of six children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother Wanda Samuels, and his sister Twila McIntosh.  Ernest was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas School District.

Known for his kind spirit and his love for life, Ernest enjoyed fishing, playing cards (especially spades), and dominoes. He had a passion for old-school television shows, professional wrestling, classic music like Shalamar and The Temptations and relaxing with a cold beer. A proud supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, he also cherished the companionship of his beloved dog, PeeWee.

Ernest leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memory his devoted daughter, Tiera Bledsoe; one granddaughter, Myaire McCrary; and one grandson, Cairo Crawford. He is also survived by his siblings: Veronica Briggs (John), Dwayne Alexander (Sherri), Tonya Samuels (Tyrone), and Donzell Samuels; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom loved him deeply.

Ernest’s legacy lives on through the laughter he shared, the support he offered, and the love he poured into his family and others.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
