Jimmie Lee Holman Sr was born November 22, 1945, to the union of Luther
Sr and Ruby Holman in Marvel, Arkansas.  He was the sixth of seven children
born to this union. The Family later moved to Kansas City, Missouri and he
attended the Kansas City School District.  Jimmie loved playing
baseball, horse shoes and hanging out with the family. He loved spending
time with his boys and grandchildren.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Sr and Ruby Lee Holman; his paternal grandparents, Jasper and Mary Holman; his maternal grandparents, Marshall and Aretha Richardson, his brothers, Luther Jr (Mary), Jasper and Darrell Holman; sisters, Tarie Lee, Dinah, Linda and Brenda Holman; brothers-in-laws, Otis Richardson and Victor Wynn Sr; step-mother, Octavia S. Holman; niece, Robbie Smith; nephew, Craig Richardson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his sons, Jimmy Holman Jr and David Jere Holman Sr (Christy), grandchildren, Valentina, David Jr, Vernon, Princeton, Aubrey, and Symphani (David); Jordan, Jimmel and Karleigh (Jimmie), great-grandchildren; Kahmari, Kaylani and Sebastian (David), and Zahir (Jimmie). Sisters; Mamie Bauldin, Niles, MI, Mary Richardson, KCMO, Ophelia Holman, Lees Summit, MO, Carrie Wynn, KCMO, Darlene Holman, KCMO, Lorrie Holman, Blue Springs, MO, Melody Holman, Grain Valley, MO, Augusta Stallworth (George II); step-brothers, Aaron Strauther Sr, Seaside, CA, James Strauther (Lorraine), Madison Ill; step-sister, Maxine Buckley, East Carondelet, ILL, sister-in-law, Rosalind Holman. He had a close bond with his niece Glenda Holman who was also his caretaker. He also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, great/great-great nephews, great/great-great nieces, cousins and friends.
