Lester Clinton Jackson, 63, was born October 10, 1959, in Kansas City, Missouri to Frank Jackson and Betty Neal. He is preceded in death by his parents and stepmother Whilemina Jackson. He is also preceded in death by his brothers: Frank L. Jackson, Bernis Jackson, & Kenneth Woodley
Lester accepted Christ at an early age at St. Matthew A.M.E. Zion. He attended Manual High School where he met his wife, Suzanne (Lynne). To this union three children were born. He also was enlisted in the United States Marines.
Lester was a great father, son, and person. He loved to sing and tell jokes, he especially loved spending time with his children, grandkids, loved ones, and close friends. He attended Grace Assembly of God, where he sang in the choir. He departed this life October 10, 2022, at St. Lukes Hospice Center.
Left to cherish Lester’s memories: his children: Lamar C. Jackson, Carmelita Jackson (Jamal), Camille Hinchee (Jonathan), Ramsey Williams (Shoni); grandchildren: Kevin Turner, Rykel Lawrence, Ty’Jaron Jackson, Elijah Irons, Ja’Shaun Jackson, D’Mitri Jackson, Malik Jackson, Christian Porter, Lamar Jackson Jr., Noelia Jackson, Remar Jackson, Talisha Williams, Tanesha Williams, Ramsey Williams Jr. great- grandchildren: Ivy Turner, Tavon Jackson, Peyton Irons. Siblings: LaVonda Jackson, LaVerne Taylor (James), Bernard Jackson (Rosa), Brenda Tillman, James Tillman, Marshall Tillman, Bobbie Henderson (Charles) Billie Tillman (Casey), Teresa Tillman, Robert Tillman (Tonya) also a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
