Linda Sue Edwards, 71, passed away on July 4, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on October 27, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri to Henry Pinkney Bowen and Alma Olean Hendren. She grew up in Kansas City, Missouri.

She began work for First Student as a bus driver where she worked for several years.

She married Albert Nelson on June 10, 2015. They were happily married for 10 years. She was proceeded into death by her father Henry Bowen, Alma Hendren (mother), Daniel Bowen (brother), daughters Tina Carrero and Shaunna Coffman, and a sister Connie Uvallas

She is survived by Albert Nelson (spouse), Melissa Urnise (daughter), 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 8 sisters, 2 brothers, many nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all family and friends that knew her and loved her to know her was to love her, she was called “Little Firecracker” filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, and God the Father.
