Michael Holman 67, passed away on July 16, 2026 at his home in Kansas City, MO. He was born on September 12, 1959 in Kansas City, Mo to Tarie L. Holman and Charles W. Boatwright, Sr . He grew up in Kansas City, MO.

He attended Paseo High School in Kansas City, MO.

Michael gave his life to the Lord at New Birth Christian Fellowship Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor James Wright Sr. Michael was a loud cheerful choir member.

Michael was employed at Continental Hotel, Kansas City Water Department, Walkers Towels and Uniform and a host of others jobs.

Michael loved to cook, watch Zombie movies, Western and Soap Operas his favorite soap was the Young and the Restless.

He was preceded in death by (Tarie Holman, mother, Charles W. Boatwright, Sr, father, three maternal uncles, Luther Holman, Jr, Jasper Holman and Jimmie Holman, one maternal aunt, Dinah Holman.

He is survived by daughter, Shelby Holman, two aunts Mamie Bauldin and Mary Richardson, three sisters, Pamela Madison (Nelson), Glenda Holman, Rochelle Holman, three brothers, Charles Boatwright (Elaine), Leonard Holman, Timothy Holman, Sr (Sherry), and four paternal brothers and eight paternal sisters. He leaves to cherish his memory, a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and cousins. A special recognition to Tiffany Holman(Keenan Ivory Waynes) who helped provide care to her uncle until his untimely death. Also Michael had a favorite little cousin Craig Richardson who he loved and provided care for. Craig was there to welcome him at the pearly gates. Lastly Michael was a man with a big heart who loved and enjoyed his family. Michael was never shy with his words, always there with a word for everyone; to my young nephew Isaiah sit your behind down and behave yourself..
