Rayleigh Jo Maupins-Deml, 11, of Kansas City Missouri, went to be an angel with God on April 5, 2023. She was born September 12, 2011 to Ashley Piers and William Maupins-Deml.

Rayleigh (Ray Ray) was a ray of sunshine, full of life, joy, caring, and always thinking of others. She loved to rap, play basketball, football, spend time with her friends and family, and make TikTok videos. She was an animal lover; especially her dogs.  Rayleigh was determined and had a bright future.

Rayleigh was preceeded in death by her brother William Maupins-Deml Jr, maternal grandfather Joe Homan, paternal grandfather William Maupins Sr, paternal grandfather Lindy Deml, maternal great grandfather Ralph Naylor.

Rayleigh is survived by her parents Ashley and William (Billy), sister Kayleigh and three brothers, Knowledge, Power, and Wisdom, grandparents Carla Homan and Merle Piers Sr, great grandmother Judy Naylor, Aunts Amy Naylor, Mattie Piers, Jennifer Brasfield (Kenny), Kristy Goff (Don) Jamie Deml, Andrea Deml, and Jessie Deml, uncles Merle Piers II (Haley), Jason Cobb, Arthur Seabury, and Lucas Deml, and many cousins, great aunts, and uncles.
