Ronald Lagrone Sr., 54, passed away on July 31, 2026, at Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, Missouri. Ronald was born on May 5, 1972, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Bennie David Lagrone and Joan Sneed-Lagrone.

He was raised in Kansas City, where he attended Kansas City Missouri Public Schools. Ronald began his career at the Animal Hospital on 47th Street, where he worked as a trainer for several years. Beyond his work, Ronald had a heart for his community. As a strong community activist, he used his voice to advocate for others and was passionate about making a difference in the lives of those around him. His commitment to his community became an important part of his life’s legacy.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie Lagrone and Joan Sneed-Lagrone, and his siblings, Donald Lagrone and Jeffrie Lagrone.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Ronald Lagrone Jr.; his brother, David Lagrone; his sister, DeeDee Lagrone and his beloved grandchildren, Damarion Lagrone, Jehloni Lagrone, Damaya Lagrone, Kyrie Lagrone, Keimoni Lagrone, and Koda Lagrone; along with extended family, friends, and a community whose lives he touched.

Ronald’s life will be remembered through the family he loved, the people he encouraged, and the community he served. Though he has departed this life, his influence, his voice, and his legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
