Tawana Denise Garth  affectionately called Sweet Pea was born February 13, 1967 to Jacqueline Williamson and Leroy Groves. Tawana was preceded in death by her daughter Ta’Meeka Garth; sisters Katherine and Treva Garth; grandmother Rosie Lee Greenwood; and stepfather Willis Williamson,

Tawana ““Sweet Pea” departed thisearthly life on Thursday December 21, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

Tawana worked as a CNA for many years before going to work at the Chief’s and Royal’s stadium until her health began to fail.

Tawana was the life of the party, she loved to cook, dance, spending time with her kids, family and friends. She was the Kansas City Chief’s #1 Fan.

Tawana leaves behind her mother Jaqueline Williamson, her children; Bryant Session, Ashley Session, Micahia Session, Michael Ray, Betty (Tomorro) Ray; sisters LaTonya Garth, Kimberly Willis (James), Robbie Dicken, Olivia Ruff (Donnell), TaMeeka Williamson; special friend Marshall Phillips; and a host of nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins andfriends.
