Terry Lamont Martin, 50, passed away on March 27, 2026 at home in Kansas City, MO. He was born July 8, 1975 in Kansas City, MO to Wallace Martin Jr and Pauline Martin. He grew up in Kansas City, MO where he earned his GED. He attended Wright Business School where he received a degree in Billing and Coding.

Terry held several jobs; one was with the KC star for 10 years as a coding specialist.

He was preceded in death by his father Wallace Martin Jr, his brother Timothy Ray Martin (T-Ray), his son Eli T. Martin (Twin), and nephew Amir Martin-Moore.

Terry is survived by his mother Pauline Martin, his only sister Tamika Martin (Meek-Meek), his brother Wallace Martin III (Threase), two daughters Chanda Clayton of Oak Grove, MO and Asjia Nelson of KCMO, one son Deshawn Clayton of Oak Grove, MO, four granddaughters Ar'Nya and Ar'Monni Thomas and A'Lasja and A'Rayla Reed all of KCMO. He also leaves to cherish his memories with a host of other relatives and friends.

Terry had a special bond with his niece Michelle Parks and nephews Tyronn and Paul Martin. He will be missed. He watched them grow from a baby to the adults they are today. He was a great uncle to them all.
