Thomas Eugene
Mozee'
Mar 25, 1953 — Aug 31, 2026
Thomas Eugene Mozee’ (aka “Tommy or Mozee’) was born in Denver, Colorado on March 25, 1953, to Elmer Mozee’ and Cora Sue Hayes. Thomas was the first born to Cora Hayes with two other siblings after him, Lauretha Darcel Cobb and Keith Edwin Cobb. Thomas was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother Lettie Hughes, his Father and Mother, Step-Father, Orenza Cobb, his Brother, Keith Cobb.
During his high school years, Thomas was a member of the National Honor Society and excelled in Physics. He was a member of St. Luke’s AME Church in Salisbury, MO, where he joined the choir, taught Sunday School and contributed towards God’s Kingdom Building. Thomas graduated from Salisbury High School in 1971, attended Missouri University in Columbia, MO. He enlisted and retired from the United States Marines Corp. He attended Howard University in Washington, DC.
Thomas was joined in marriage to Donna Jackson and to that union, they had two children, Marlon and N’Deda Mozee’.
Thomas greatest joy was doing for his family, no matter the occasion or the task asked. He extended that same joy to his relatives all over the country, attending family reunions and other events that he was invited to. He will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he was a part of and met throughout his life journey. Thomas was truly a people person.
Thomas held various positions within Corporate America over his lifetime but had a passion and vision to build homes using a concrete-based product engineered by him and his business partner. They worked tirelessly to bring the vision into fruition, with Thomas studying business administration and other areas of design in order to be up to codes when their first design was built.
