Timothy Mark Jenkins, 34 was born on January 27, 1988 in Kansas City, Kansas. The family moved to Kansas City Kansas from Bossier City, Louisiana in 1983 and Timothy was the fourth of six children born to Willie  and Cathy (Coleman) Jenkins.

Timothy was homeschooled from first through twelveth grade, with the exception of the one year he attended Muncie Christian Academy. He was on the baseball team for one season when he attended Muncie Christian Academy. Throughout the years he was actively involved in the community through the NAACP organization where he became the President of the Youth Council. While actively involved in the organization he attended a national conference in Baltimore Maryland, where he had the opportunity and honor of meeting  the sitting president George W. Bush. It was an unforgettable moment in his life.

Timothy studied the Jewish faith while being homeschooled and enrolled in a Jewish history program which he completed and graduated. He enrolled in several other programs that he earned certificates while enriching his knowledge of the Bible. Timothy’s latest pursuit involved going to school to become certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer.

Timothy loved music and you could always tell what his favorite songs were because he would play them over and over again until you would find yourself knowing the words and doing a sing along.

Timothy left home for awhile and decided he would take lessons to learn how to play the guitar. Upon his return to Kansas City he obtained employment with Tyson Foods. His position at Tyson Food was that of a forklift operator.

Timothy leaves to cherish his memory. His father (Willie Jenkins), mother (Cathy Coleman-Jenkins), stepmother (Barbara Haynes-Jenkins); sisters (Candace, Lealure, Tabitha and Hannah Jenkins); stepsisters (Davena Price, Syeria Smith, and Cierra Haynes); children (Zephaniah, Zavanna, Marlise, and Timothy Jr.); and a host of uncles; aunts; cousins; and friends.
