De’Anthony T. Hamm, Sr. was called home on Sunday, February 27, 2022. He was born in Kansas City, MO on May 21, 1994 to Tabitha Hamm-Johnson and Kevin Roberson.
De'Anthony accepted Christ at an early age in St. Louis, MO, where he served as a Junior Usher. He also continued to attend church once he moved to Kansas City.
De’Anthony was educated in the Normandy and Hickman Mills School Districts. He graduated from Ruskin High School in 2012 where he was a member of the JROTC. After graduation he entered the workforce and had several jobs. He attended Metropolitan Community College – Blue River Safety Institute and graduated from the Fire Academy FA-34 in 2018. His dream was to become a firefighter but due to his decline in health, he was unable to pursue that career.
De’Anthony adored his two sons. He loved riding motorcycles. He was a friendly and outgoing person. He had many friends and was always willing to lend a hand, when needed.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Roberson; his great-grandparents, Irma and Jack Hamm of St. Louis, MO; and three uncles, Larry Roberson, Cedric Roberson, and Cecil Roberson.
De’Anthony is survived by his mother, Tabitha Hamm-Johnson (Michael Sr.), of St. Louis, MO; father, Kevin Roberson; sons, De’Anthony Hamm Jr. and Princeton Henderson; five siblings, Michaela Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Bryce Johnson of St. Louis, MO, and Kevin Roberson II, and Jordan Roberson, of Kansas City; grandparents, Linda and David Smith, and Ruth Roberson; eight aunts and uncles, Autumn, Amber, Tyrone, Sharon, Pastor J, Deondray, Damon, and JoRuetta; and a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
